  • Lead continuous clinical program iteration by incorporating new evidence, emerging care models, and lessons from operational and clinical data.
  • Own clinical patient-safety escalation protocols and oversee active escalations, ensuring consistent application of clinical standards.
  • Partner closely with product and engineering teams to define and improve clinical tooling, workflows, decision support, and technology-enabled care processes.
  • Help evaluate and incorporate AI and automation opportunities that can improve clinical quality, protocol management, and operational scale while maintaining appropriate clinical oversight.
Requirements:
  • MD or DO degree from an accredited institution.
  • Board certification in Family Medicine, Internal Medicine, or Emergency Medicine; primary care experience is preferred.
  • Substantial clinical practice experience, including experience in virtual care or telemedicine.
  • Previous clinical leadership experience managing teams directly within telehealth, digital health, or another high-volume virtual care environment.
  • Hands-on experience building, managing, or auditing a clinical Quality Assurance program.
  • Demonstrated experience authoring, implementing, and maintaining clinical protocols.
  • Strong understanding of clinical quality, patient safety, and evidence-based care.
  • Ability to work effectively with data, including dashboards, cohorts, outcomes, and other clinical performance measures.
  • Basic proficiency with AI tools and software, with an interest in applying emerging technologies to healthcare.
  • Strong interest in the evolution of medicine, including new evidence, care modalities, technologies, and models of care.
  • Ability and willingness to collaborate closely with product and engineering teams as clinical technology is designed and implemented.
  • Active medical license in good standing in at least one U.S. state.
  • Ability to successfully complete NCQA credentialing and standardized background checks.
  • Strong communication, clinical judgment, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Nice to Have

  • Familiarity with EHR configuration, clinical decision support, or point-of-care technology.
  • Licensure in multiple U.S. states.
  • ABOM certification or expertise in cardiometabolic conditions.
Benefits:

  • Opportunity to shape modern virtual care programs using data, technology, and AI.
  • High-impact clinical leadership role with close collaboration across medical, product, and engineering functions.
