Marketing Virtual Assistant

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Marketing Virtual Assistant based in Canada.

This role offers the opportunity to support dynamic marketing and content initiatives within a fast-growing, entrepreneurial environment.
You will help keep campaigns, projects, and creative workflows organized while enabling marketing teams to focus on high-impact growth activities.
The position combines marketing operations, content coordination, administrative support, and process improvement.

Accountabilities:

As a Marketing Virtual Assistant, you will provide operational and creative support to marketing teams by managing workflows, coordinating projects, and helping execute campaigns. You will ensure important tasks are completed accurately, efficiently, and on schedule while proactively identifying opportunities to improve processes.

  • Support the execution and coordination of marketing initiatives across multiple channels.
  • Assist with campaign preparation by organizing assets, documents, and supporting materials.
  • Maintain structured marketing files, content libraries, and internal documentation.
  • Support content publishing across social media and digital platforms.
  • Coordinate creative assets, captions, thumbnails, and other marketing materials.
  • Research industry trends, competitors, and content opportunities to support campaigns.
  • Manage recurring administrative and operational marketing tasks.
  • Coordinate meetings, follow-ups, and project communications.
  • Track project deliverables, deadlines, and priorities to ensure smooth execution.
  • Assist with reporting, data entry, and process documentation.
  • Collaborate with marketing, content, and leadership teams to support business objectives.
  • Take ownership of assigned projects and proactively suggest improvements to increase efficiency.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a highly organized and detail-oriented professional with experience supporting marketing, content, or administrative operations. You should be comfortable working independently, managing multiple priorities, and communicating effectively in a remote environment.

  • 3+ years of experience in marketing, administration, content coordination, or virtual assistant roles.
  • Strong organizational skills with excellent attention to detail and follow-through.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, deadlines, and priorities simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal English communication skills.
  • Comfortable working independently with minimal supervision.
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to completing tasks.
  • Proficiency with Google Workspace and common productivity tools.
  • Experience working remotely and collaborating with distributed teams.

Preferred qualifications:

  • Background in marketing, social media, content creation, or creative operations.
  • Experience with project management tools such as ClickUp, Asana, Trello, or Monday.com.
  • Familiarity with Canva, social media platforms, or content management systems.
  • Experience supporting marketing teams, online businesses, creators, or digital organizations.
  • Availability during North American business hours.
