Job Description
SUMMARY:
Responsible for accounting of all Personnel equipment. Responsible for the successful overall coordination and supervision of all Facilities employees ensuring maximum productivity and superior customer service and satisfaction. Responsible for implementing and ensuring that the operations of Facilities employees are efficient and productive in completing assigned projects and duties and in compliance with Company standards. Responsible for establishing and maintaining the Preventive Maintenance (PM) program on all company equipment (HVAC, Laundry, Kitchen, Hotel, etc.).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following:
- Responsible for maintaining inventory control of all Personnel equipment and issuing Employee uniforms.
- Maintain accurate Personnel equipment records.
- Maintain accurate Personnel time sheets.
- Conducts monthly inventory of all stock and supplies.
- Coordinates Facilities work with other Departments, as necessary.
- Coordinates Facilities employees in the proper execution of their responsibilities and monitors work.
- Assists the Director of Facilities in the overall management of the maintenance functions.
- Assists in the selection, training, supervision and evaluation of Facilities employees.
- Assists Director in recommendations and suggestions to interview, hire, transfer, suspend, assign, evaluate, and discipline and/or terminate all Facilities employees.
- Routinely inspects work areas and conducts or coordinates preventive maintenance on all equipment (HVAC, Laundry, Kitchen, etc.), problems or repair needs, potential safety hazards, and schedules the appropriate individuals for proper resolution.
- Maintains an adequate supply of Facilities supplies, re-ordering and re-stocking when necessary.
- Utilizes leadership skills and motivation techniques in order to maximize productivity and satisfaction of Facilities employees.
- Reviews departmental customer complaints, ensuring corrective action is taken.
- Aids in the flow of information throughout the property, by organizing and presiding over regularly scheduled meetings with all Facilities employees.
- All other duties as assigned
EDUCATION / EXPERIENCE:
High School diploma or GED required. Some college and certifications in HVAC preferred.
SPECIAL QUALIFICATIONS:
Must possess effective communication and organizational skills. Minimum of one-year prior industrial HVAC, Kitchen equipment, and Laundry equipment experience required, with progressive supervisory/managerial experience preferred.
