Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM Senior Developer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM Senior Developer based in United States.

This is a senior technical role focused on designing, developing, and continuously improving Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Supply Chain Management solutions. You’ll build customizations, integrations, and applications that align ERP capabilities with complex business requirements. Working closely with functional consultants, clients, and delivery teams, you’ll translate business needs into robust technical solutions. You’ll play a key role in troubleshooting issues, supporting testing, and ensuring reliable deployments. The position combines hands-on development with technical guidance and opportunities to influence solution design. You’ll work in a fully remote environment alongside experienced Microsoft Dynamics professionals and contribute to projects across diverse industries.

Accountabilities
  • Solution Development: Design, develop, test, configure, and deploy customizations, integrations, and new features for Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM and related solutions.
  • Business & Technical Analysis: Collaborate with business leaders, clients, and delivery teams to understand requirements and translate them into technical fit-gap analyses and detailed design documentation.
  • Code Quality & Testing: Produce high-quality, maintainable code, conduct thorough testing, support early user acceptance testing, investigate defects, and implement stable solutions.
  • Project Delivery: Deliver development work within agreed timelines while following established change-management processes and coordinating closely with functional consultants.
  • Technical Consulting: Address customer technical questions, explain solution capabilities clearly, recommend appropriate approaches, and identify opportunities to improve existing implementations.
  • Troubleshooting & Optimization: Diagnose technical and system issues, develop creative workarounds when required, and implement improvements that strengthen solution performance and reliability.
  • Third-Party Integrations: Work with common third-party add-ons and ensure effective integration with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM.
  • Documentation & Project Tracking: Maintain comprehensive technical and project documentation while communicating progress, issues, risks, and blockers through project management tools.
  • Technical Leadership: Provide guidance to other developers, coordinate overflow development work, and contribute to the continuous improvement of development practices and solutions.
  • Product Knowledge: Stay current with Microsoft Dynamics 365 updates, emerging technologies, and developments across the broader Microsoft ecosystem.
Requirements
  • Experience: 7–10 years of development experience with Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM, with deep expertise in application programming, databases, and system design.
  • Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of Dynamics 365 F&SCM, including the ability to identify technical issues, recommend solutions, and provide practical guidance to clients and project teams.
  • Integration Knowledge: Hands-on experience integrating third-party add-on solutions with Dynamics 365 F&SCM.
  • Development Skills: Strong ability to design, develop, test, troubleshoot, and optimize enterprise ERP customizations and integrations.
  • Functional Understanding: In-depth knowledge of F&SCM functionality and business processes, enabling effective collaboration between technical and functional teams.
  • Problem Solving: Creative and analytical approach to overcoming technical challenges, identifying workarounds, and resolving complex system issues.
  • Leadership: Ability to coordinate and manage other developers, including allocating and overseeing overflow development work.
  • Communication: Exceptional written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with clients, consultants, developers, and business stakeholders.
  • Adaptability: Curiosity and willingness to learn new industries and understand evolving customer needs.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in software engineering, computer science, or a related discipline, or equivalent professional experience.
  • Certification: Microsoft Dynamics 365 F&SCM certifications are preferred.
