THE POSITION: Project Manager

This is a key hire for our Project Management Office (PMO), a small, high-impact team at the center of how important strategic initiatives across the business get executed. Working alongside other PMO team members, you'll partner with experienced functional leaders across the business to support the successful execution of small-to-medium projects and contribute to larger, cross-functional initiatives. You'll help keep projects and workstreams organized and on track, identify risks and roadblocks, coordinate across teams, and ensure key deliverables and decisions move forward.

This is an opportunity for a Project Manager who enjoys bringing structure to complex work and working across teams to turn plans into action. You'll gain broad, hands-on exposure to cross-functional projects across the business, work within a structured PMO function, and contribute to initiatives that have a meaningful impact on the organization in a fast-paced retail environment.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Project Delivery

  • Support the planning and execution of assigned projects and workstreams, following PMO standards and governance
  • Build and maintain project plans, trackers, timelines, milestones, dependencies, and action items
  • Monitor progress against project plans and proactively identify and escalate risks, issues, dependencies, and roadblocks
  • Support project budget tracking and forecasting, ensuring information remains accurate and up to date
  • Prepare regular project status reports, updates, and materials to provide visibility into progress and key issues
  • Coordinate project deliverables and follow up with stakeholders to ensure commitments and deadlines remain on track

Stakeholder Management

  • Build effective working relationships across Revenue, Production, Supply Chain, IT, Analytics, HR, Finance, and other functions
  • Coordinate and facilitate project meetings, working sessions, and steering committees, ensuring clear agendas, action items, owners, and follow-up
  • Support the preparation of materials and updates for project leadership and stakeholders at various levels of the organization, up to and including the Executive Team
  • Communicate project updates, changes, risks, and action items clearly and effectively

PMO Support & Governance

  • Support the PMO in maintaining visibility across the project portfolio, including reporting packs, RAG status updates, and the enterprise PMO roadmap
  • Maintain accurate and organized project documentation in accordance with PMO templates, processes, and governance standards
  • Support resource planning and capacity management across the portfolio as needed
  • Contribute to the ongoing improvement of PMO tools, templates, processes, and ways of working to the wider organization

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

  • 25+ years of demonstrable experience in project coordination or project management, ideally within a retail, consumer, or similarly fast-paced environment
  • Experience supporting projects across key stages including needs analysis, project development, planning, scheduling, execution, and status reporting
  • Proven ability to identify and proactively manage project risks, issues, dependencies, and roadblocks
  • Demonstrated experience coordinating multiple workstreams, deliverables, and competing priorities while keeping projects organized and moving forward
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively engage stakeholders across functions and levels of the organization
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with a methodical approach to project planning, documentation, tracking, and follow-through
  • Ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams and build strong working relationships with business partners
  • Advanced Excel and PowerPoint skills, including the ability to build project trackers, organize and analyze information, and create polished presentations and project updates
  • Familiarity with project management software such as MS Project, Smartsheet, Monday.com, Jira, Lucidchart, Miro, or equivalent tools
  • Demonstrated experience using AI tools to improve project documentation, reporting, planning, or workflow efficiency, with the ability to provide specific examples of how these tools have been applied
