Position Summary

Position: Title Assistant

Classification : Full Time; Exempt

Reports To: Controller

Work Location: In person; The Woodlands

Essential Duties include but are not limited to:

Review vehicle titles for accuracy and completeness to include VIN, odometer reading and release of liensVerify acceptance of title in state for which it is filedConfirm negotiability of title document and report any title discrepanciesInteract with customers, dealers and representatives of regulatory agencies in resolution of title issuesMaintain current knowledge of DMV regulations regarding vehicle titles for each state in which vehicles are processedOther duties may be assigned

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

Dealership Experience RequiredBasic computer skills required

Strong communication and customer service skillsAble to work individually as well as part of a teamQuick learner with attention to detail

Relevant Work Experience & Other Requirements:

High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred; or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.Dealership experience preferred.Must meet dealerships requirements for employment which include background check and drug screening.Must have a valid driver’s license and be insurable based on driving record.Must be a minimum of eighteen years of age.Must be punctual and reliable.
