Custodian in Brazil, Indiana at Britt Aero

I. Position Overview:

A Britt Aero Custodian is responsible for the cleanliness and maintenance of the manufacturing facility. A Custodian is responsible to stock supplies and keep a clean working environment throughout the office and manufacturing floor, through a variety of cleaning tasks.

II. Responsibilities:

A. Clean and stock restroom facilities.

B. Empty waste containers.

C. Clean and sanitize high-touch areas of the manufacturing facility.

D. Perform general shop wide cleaning activities.

E. Aid in the spill and overflow of coolant management.

F. Aid operators in the control of metal shavings and chips, as necessary, including but not limited to unloading gaylord and hoppers as required.

G. Other duties as instructed.

III. Requirements:

A. Previous manufacturing experience is preferred but not necessary.

B. Must demonstrate the ability to follow verbal and/or written instructions.

C. Must show an attention to detail.

D. Must be able to work efficiently as an individual as well as in a team environment.

E. Demonstrate the ability to operate or learn to operate a Fork Truck per safety procedures.
