Registered Nurse (RN) - Emergency Department (ED)

Work location: Texas Health Allen, 1105 Central Expwy North, Allen, TX 75013
Work hours: Full Time/Evenings (12:45p - 1:15a) for 36 hrs/week. Rotating weekend and holiday requirements.
Emergency Department Highlights:

• Fast-Paced, high-volume department averaging 70-90 patients/day; diverse patient population
• Department engagement encourages as well as required staff meetings
Here's What You Need:
• Nursing Diploma in nursing required or
• Associate's degree in nursing required or
• Bachelor's degree in nursing preferred
• 1 year of experience as registered nurse required
• 1-2 years of experience as an RN in an acute care ED setting strongly preferred
• RN - Registered Nurse upon hire required and
• BCLS - Basic Cardiac Life Support prior to providing independent patient care and maintained quarterly upon hire required and
• CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training maintained annually within 90 days required and
• ACLS - Advanced Cardiac Life Support within 90 days and
• PALS - Pediatric Advanced Life Support within 90 days and
• TNCC - Trauma Nursing Core Course upon hire preferred
• A high degree of confidentiality, positive interpersonal skills, and ability to function in a fast-paced environment.
