Quality Improvement Coordinator RN

Position highlights:
• Work location: 1301 Pennsylvania Ave. Fort Worth, TX 76104
• Hours: Monday - Friday 8am -5pm flexible schedule

Here's What You Need:
• Current RN licensure upon hire Required
• Associate's Degree Graduate of an accredited Nursing program
• Completion of BSN within two years of earliest start date in a Texas Health RN role is required.
• Bachelor's Degree Nursing preferred OR
• Master's Degree health-related field preferred
• Minimum 3 years of experience in acute care setting required
• 1 year of experience in healthcare quality/performance improvement preferred
• CPHQ - Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality 3 years preferred
• Microsoft Office skills, knowledgeable in the application of statistical data.
• Prefer Knowledge of Joint Commission and standards, PI tools, Lean Principles and statistical analysis.
What You Will Do:
• Pursues/achieves/maintains required applicable certification and licensure.
• Pursues professional growth and development of required knowledge and skills
• Promote stakeholder engagement and interprofessional collaboration to improve care processes, patient outcomes, and patient experience.
• Communicate effectively with a wide variety of audiences to support achievement of quality goals.
• Implement standard performance and process improvement (PPI) methods.
• Acquire data from source systems.
• Use organizational procedures to identify and report patient safety risks and events.
• Use knowledge of standards and regulations to facilitate and support continuous regulatory compliance, serving as a subject matter expert for others.
• Monitor the impact of value-based payment initiatives and quality report cards
