Location: Anderson, SC
Schedule: 12:00 PM – 12:00 AM (Occasional weekends and off-shift support required)
Salary: $75,000–$80,000 annually (Based on experience)
HTI is seeking an experienced Paint Supervisor for a leading automotive manufacturing facility in Anderson, SC. This leadership role is responsible for driving safety, quality, productivity, and on-time delivery while leading a high-performing production team within a fast-paced paint operation. The ideal candidate has prior automotive manufacturing leadership experience and a proven ability to improve production performance through employee development and continuous improvement initiatives. Previous automotive experience in Paint, Injection Molding, or Assembly is required, along with prior management experience.
What You'll DoLead daily operations for an assigned production shift, ensuring safety, quality, cost, and delivery objectives are achieved.
Supervise and develop production associates, process technicians, mold setters, team leaders, and other production personnel.
Promote a culture of safety while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
Monitor production quality, investigate root causes, and implement corrective actions.
Maintain production processes according to process control plans and established operating standards.
Partner with Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, HR, and other departments to achieve production goals.
Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, productivity, and efficiency.
Coach, mentor, and develop employees into cross-trained, high-performing team members.
Ensure production schedules are met while maintaining customer quality and delivery expectations.
Communicate production performance, quality concerns, and operational issues to plant leadership.
High School Diploma or GED required.
Leadership training, technical education, or college coursework preferred.
Minimum 3 years of manufacturing leadership experience.
Previous automotive manufacturing experience in Paint, Injection Molding, or Assembly.
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and develop production teams.
Strong understanding of manufacturing processes, quality systems, and continuous improvement.
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
Ability to prioritize work and respond effectively in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Experience in a Tier 1 automotive manufacturing environment.
Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement experience.
Experience with production KPIs and process control plans.
Strong coaching and employee development background.
Ability to stand, walk, climb, stoop, kneel, and lift up to 50 pounds.
Frequent use of computers and manufacturing systems.
Must be able to work safely in a manufacturing environment while meeting all physical requirements of the position.
