We're currently looking for an enthusiastic and motivated Service Apprentice Technician to join our Service team. If you're eager to expand your technical skills, work alongside experienced technicians, and build a long-term career in the automotive industry, we'd love to hear from you.

Role Summary:

The Service Apprentice Technician works under the supervision of Licensed Technicians and the Service Manager to perform basic vehicle maintenance and assist with repairs. This role is designed for individuals who are pursuing, or are interested in pursuing, their apprenticeship in automotive service. The ideal candidate is eager to learn, has a strong work ethic, and demonstrates a genuine interest in developing technical skills in a fast-paced dealership environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist Licensed Technicians with vehicle inspections, diagnostics, maintenance, and repairs.
  • Perform basic services such as oil changes, tire rotations, fluid checks, and filter replacements.
  • Conduct vehicle cleaning and preparation tasks as required.
  • Follow safety guidelines and ensure a clean and organized workspace.
  • Use tools and equipment properly while learning advanced repair techniques.
  • Document work performed and maintain accurate records as directed.
  • Support the service team with shop organization, parts handling, and vehicle movement.
  • Participate actively in training opportunities and apprenticeship development.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the service department.

Qualifications & Requirements:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • Enrollment in an Automotive Service Technician apprenticeship program.
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and understanding of vehicle systems.
  • Strong work ethic, willingness to learn, and ability to follow instructions.
  • Good communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to work in a physically demanding environment (standing, lifting up to 50 lbs, bending, etc.).
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
