Laser Fabrication Attendant TN-3rd Shift in Greeneville, Tennessee at JOST International Corp

INTRODUCTION: This position reports to Machining Supervisor. It is solely accountable for the fulfillment of all assigned duties and has authority delegated commensurate with assigned responsibilities.

Laser/Fabrication Attendant – Performs functions associated with the loading of sheets of metal and steel beams and unloading of cut parts as required from Laser/Ficept Machines.

AREAS OF RESPONSIBILITY: Include, but are not limited to:

a) Assist machine operator in loading sheets of metal and/or steel beams and unloading cut parts.

b) May include locating and grinding appropriate parts to specified instructions.

c) Make sure all parts have part numbers visible and legible condition.

d) Housekeeping in laser machine area and removal of debris from area.

e) Operate in compliance with Basic Processes and Work Instructions.

f) Any additional duties that have not been specifically stated, but which may be assigned and those that are logically and properly inherent to this position.

REQUIREMENTS:

a) Ability to work with mechanical tools and equipment.

b) Ability to read and write legible.

c) Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and bend, stoop and reach and pull with full motion unrestricted.

d) Prior experience helpful, but not necessary.

e) Ability to gain knowledge of company products. Comply with quality, environmental, safety and Jost company policies and procedures.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:

a) Work is generally performed in a production plant 100% of time.

b) While performing duties of this job, the employee will regularly; stand, walk, reach, bend, twist and occasionally will be required to stoop, kneel, lift, pull or move objects of 50 pounds or less with or without assistance.
