Information Systems Security Engineer (ISSE) – Hanover, MD in Hanover, Maryland at DCI Solutions

Job Description

• Serve as an ISSE
• Apply current systems security engineering methods, practices and technologies to:
  • Architecture, design, development
  • Evaluation and integration of systems to maintain system security
• Develop, implement, and enforce information systems security policies.
• Ensure security requirements are addressed during Information System lifecycle.
• Reviews and understands the living documents and how to address scans.
• Update the plan of actions/milestones (POAM).
• Evaluate security architectures and designs meet security compliance objectives.
• Contribute to:
  • Security planning, assessment, risk analysis, risk management,
  • Assessment & authorization complex software intensive system.
• Resolve conflicting system security engineering requirements.
• Responsible for taking information from the vendor and update in eMASS.

Qualifications:

• Active TS/SCI Clearance with Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.
• 10+ years of prior relevant experience or an equivalent combination of:
  • Training, work experience or applicable military experience.
• At least five (5) years must be specialized experience including:
  • System security analysis and implementation
  • Design assurance or testing for INFOSEC products and systems
  • Integration or testing for INFOSEC products and systems
• Ability to develop and interpret:
  • Security architectures
  • Data flow diagrams
  • Publications that depict the system(s) architecture
• Ability to identify areas of non-compliance and propose solutions.
• Thorough knowledge of RMF (Risk Management Framework)
• Full understanding of process to obtain an ATO (Authority to Operate).
• Experience updating the plan of actions and milestones (POAM).
• Hands-on experience with EMASS.
• Knowledge of DoD 5000 Acquisition Process.
• Must have the ability to work in a dynamic environment and effectively interactwith numerous DOD, military/civilian personnel and industry partners.

Required: Active TS/SCI Security Clearance with CI Polygraph
