Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Bonding Technician to join our manufacturing team. This role is responsible for bonding, sanding, and finishing freestanding bathtubs by seamlessly joining inner and outer acrylic molds. This position is ideal for individuals with a background in autobody repair, woodworking, or dry wall who are comfortable with precision work, surface finishing, and hands-on craftsmanship.
Responsibilities
- Bond inner and outer tub molds using approved materials and processes
- Align and secure seams to ensure structural integrity and a seamless appearance
- Sand, smooth, and finish bonded areas to meet quality and visual standards
- Inspect finished products for defects or imperfections and perform rework as needed
- Operate hand tools, power tools, and sanding equipment safely and efficiently
- Follow all production specifications, quality standards, and safety procedures
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Collaborate with team members to meet production goals and deadlines
Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand for extended periods
- Frequent bending, squatting, pushing, and pulling
- Ability to lift, move, and position heavy materials and finished products
- Repetitive hand and arm movements related to sanding and finishing processes
Required Qualifications
- Demonstrated experience with sanding, shaping, bonding, or surface finishing
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality craftsmanship
- Ability to read and follow work instructions and production specifications in English
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work effectively in a team environment
