Mandarin-speaking English Language Teacher (ESL) in McKees Rocks, PA in McKees Rocks, Pennsylvania at Global LT

Join the Global LT community and help provide language lessons to business professionals worldwide. We are currently hiring an English Language Teacher (ESL) to provide in-person lessons to our client in McKees Rocks.

Job Information:

• Students: 15 to 16 learners (adults, workers) divided into 4 groups. Lessons should focus on improving their English communication level and on truck/on-road issues.
  
• Schedule: Back-to-back training on Sundays:

o Group 1 – 9am-10am
o Group 2 – 10am-11am
o Group 3 – 11am-12pm
o Group 4 – 12pm-1pm

• Location: Lessons are to be held at the students' workplace in McKees Rocks, PA.

• Native language: Most learners primary speak Mandarin, and they thus need to be taught by a Mandarin speaker.

Responsibilities:

• Delivering tailored, dynamic, effective, and engaging lessons

• Developing curricula based on learners' proficiency level and desired outcomes

• Monitoring students' progress and guiding learners toward learning goals

• Communicating in an efficient, effective, and professional manner

Qualifications:

• Native or near-native written and spoken proficiency in English

• Degree or certification in language teaching, education, instructional design, writing, language, linguistics, second language acquisition, or related field

• Minimum of two years of English (ESL) teaching experience
  
• Ability to communicate in Mandarin Chinese
