Maintenance Technician in Tangent, Oregon at Barenbrug USA, INC

The Maintenance Technician will oversee the performance and maintenance production machinery and assist the Maintenance Manager in upkeep and maintenance of the facility. This position is responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving overall facility maintenance as well as production equipment throughout the packaging process, including seed dumping, blending, conveying, filling, bagging, sealing, and final packaging. The ideal candidate will have experience of troubleshooting mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, electrical, and PLC-controlled equipment in a manufacturing or industrial environment.

Required Education and Experience

· High school diploma or GED

· 4 years of experience working with systems in a mechanical capacity.

· 4 years of experience in a safety capacity.

· Must be forklift certified or can be certified.

· Technical training, apprenticeship, industrial maintenance certification, or LME certification preferred.
