Lead Full stack Developer

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Lead Full Stack Developer based in United States.

This is a hands-on technical leadership role focused on building and evolving modern full-stack applications.
You will design, develop, and deploy scalable solutions across both front-end and back-end layers.
The role combines Java/Spring Boot backend engineering with Angular application development.
You will work closely with Product Owners, Architects, QA Engineers, and other technical stakeholders.
Your expertise will help shape reliable APIs, integrations, performance improvements, and maintainable software.
You will also contribute through code reviews, technical mentorship, and engineering best practices.
Experience in healthcare technology is highly valued, offering the opportunity to work on impactful solutions in a complex industry.

Accountabilities
  • Lead the design, development, testing, and deployment of full-stack applications using Java, Spring Boot, and Angular.
  • Translate business and product requirements into scalable, reliable, and maintainable technical solutions in collaboration with Product Owners, Architects, and QA teams.
  • Design and develop REST APIs and ensure effective integration between front-end and back-end systems.
  • Conduct code reviews, mentor developers, promote coding standards, and help maintain high engineering quality across the development lifecycle.
  • Optimize application performance, scalability, reliability, and maintainability while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement.
  • Participate actively in Agile ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
  • Troubleshoot, diagnose, and resolve complex technical issues across development and production environments.
  • Evaluate emerging technologies and engineering practices and recommend improvements that increase development efficiency and system performance.
Requirements
  • Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer or Lead Developer, with strong hands-on experience across front-end and back-end development.
  • Strong proficiency in Java and Spring Boot, combined with practical experience developing applications with Angular.
  • Experience designing and implementing RESTful APIs and integrating front-end and back-end services.
  • Strong understanding of software architecture, application scalability, performance optimization, maintainability, and development best practices.
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct effective code reviews, provide technical mentorship, and guide engineering teams toward consistent coding standards.
  • Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments and participating in collaborative software delivery processes.
  • Strong troubleshooting, debugging, analytical, and problem-solving capabilities, particularly for complex production issues.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with product, architecture, QA, and engineering stakeholders.
  • Ability to assess emerging technologies and translate them into practical improvements for software development and application performance.
  • Healthcare industry experience is preferred and is considered a strong advantage.
