This is an opportunity to make a measurable commercial impact while supporting greater transparency, safety, and integrity across the global food supply chain.

- Respond to inbound leads quickly and maintain a consistent follow-up cadence to qualify prospects and advance opportunities through the sales funnel.
- Identify customers’ testing requirements, business drivers, and operational challenges, then recommend appropriate laboratory testing solutions.
- Build trusted relationships with quality, food safety, procurement, operations, and other stakeholders within customer organizations.
- Develop and execute account and territory plans designed to generate new testing opportunities and drive revenue growth.
- Own sales opportunities from discovery through pricing, proposal creation, negotiation, and close, while adhering to established pricing and turnaround-time standards.
- Partner with laboratory teams, technical experts, product, and marketing to validate solution feasibility and ensure customer requirements are addressed effectively.
- Help customers establish new sample-submission workflows and testing programs, ensuring a smooth transition from sale to service delivery.
- Maintain accurate customer activity, opportunity, pipeline, and forecast information in Salesforce.
- Provide a high-quality customer experience by combining commercial ownership with responsive, knowledgeable support throughout the relationship.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, food science, a related scientific discipline, or equivalent relevant professional experience.
- Experience in customer service, laboratory services, food and beverage testing, food safety, quality, or another technical-services environment is preferred.
- Demonstrated success managing consultative B2B sales opportunities and closing complex or solution-oriented deals.
- Working knowledge of core sales processes, including lead qualification, account development, pricing, proposal management, negotiation, and closing.
- Ability to understand technical customer requirements and translate them into practical testing or laboratory service solutions.
- Strong relationship-building and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with both technical and business stakeholders.
- Experience using CRM platforms, particularly Salesforce, as well as Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple accounts, opportunities, priorities, and follow-ups effectively.
- A proactive, customer-focused approach with the confidence to identify opportunities, solve problems, and drive sales processes forward.
- Fully remote position based in the United States.
- Opportunity to work with customers across the food and beverage industry and contribute to food safety, transparency, and sustainability.
- Exposure to a broad range of laboratory testing solutions and technical-services environments.
- Collaborative work with laboratory, technical, product, marketing, and commercial teams.
- Equal employment opportunity and an inclusive workplace committed to fair treatment and accessibility.
- Reasonable accommodations available throughout the application and selection process.
