This position is posted by Jobgether on behalf of a partner company. We are currently looking for an Application System Analyst – Principal in the United States.
This senior-level role focuses on the design, configuration, optimization, and support of Epic MyChart solutions that enhance digital patient engagement and improve access to care. You will act as a key technical and operational leader, driving innovation across patient-facing workflows while ensuring systems are scalable, reliable, and aligned with organizational goals. The position operates in a fast-paced, product-oriented healthcare environment where collaboration with clinical, operational, and digital teams is essential. You will play a critical role in shaping virtual care, pharmacy, lab, and on-demand capabilities through Epic solutions. In addition to hands-on configuration work, you will provide strategic guidance, mentor junior analysts, and contribute to best practices across the application lifecycle. This role is fully remote and requires strong autonomy, leadership, and cross-functional communication skills.
- Lead the design, configuration, testing, implementation, and ongoing optimization of Epic MyChart and related patient engagement solutions.
- Analyze, troubleshoot, and resolve complex system and application issues in alignment with service level expectations.
- Translate clinical and operational requirements into technical specifications and scalable system designs.
- Manage or support complex projects across the application lifecycle, including planning, execution, and post-implementation evaluation.
- Partner with internal stakeholders and external vendors to integrate, support, and enhance third-party and Epic-based applications.
- Develop and maintain standards, documentation, workflows, and best practices for system configuration and support.
- Mentor and support junior analysts while contributing to knowledge sharing and capability development across the team.
- Participate in on-call support, command center activities, and cross-functional governance or user group forums.
- Current Epic MyChart certification is required; additional certifications in Cadence and Prelude are strongly preferred.
- Extensive experience (8+ years preferred) in healthcare IT, application support, and system configuration within Epic environments.
- Strong expertise in patient-facing workflows, with knowledge of virtual care, lab, pharmacy, and digital health solutions.
- Proven ability to manage complex projects, prioritize competing demands, and deliver under tight timelines.
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills with attention to detail and process improvement.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage both technical and non-technical stakeholders at all levels.
- Experience with ServiceNow for incident and change management is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in IT, healthcare, business, or related field (or equivalent relevant experience).
- Ability to work independently in a fully remote environment with minimal supervision.
- Fully remote work arrangement with a standard Monday–Friday schedule.
- Competitive hourly range of approximately $54.12–$85.20, based on experience.
