Konza Prairie Community Health Center is seeking a dependable, detail-oriented Pharmacy Technician I to join our Pharmacy team. In this role, you’ll work alongside our pharmacists to provide safe, accurate, and efficient pharmacy services while helping patients access the medications they need.
This position is ideal for an experienced pharmacy technician who values accuracy, patient service, teamwork, and working in a mission-driven healthcare environment.

What You'll Do
- Process new prescriptions and refill requests
- Enter prescriptions accurately into the pharmacy information system
- Verify prescription benefits and insurance coverage
- Communicate copays and assist patients with pharmacy-related questions
- Count, measure, label, and prepare medications for pharmacist verification
- Maintain accurate patient pharmacy profiles
- Process insurance claims and assist with rejected or denied claims
- Maintain medication and supply inventory, including stocking and expiration monitoring
- Collect patient payments and assist with point-of-sale transactions
- Assist with contract pharmacy revenue reconciliation
- Identify prescription, insurance, or processing concerns and appropriately resolve or escalate them
- Maintain patient confidentiality and follow pharmacy safety and quality procedures
- Work closely with pharmacists, providers, patients, and other members of the healthcare team
Required
- Current registration with the Kansas State Board of Pharmacy
- National Certified Pharmacy Technician (CPhT) certification or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment
- Previous pharmacy or healthcare experience
- At least one year of prescription order entry experience
Preferred
- FQHC and/or eClinicalWorks (eCW) experience
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
