Job Description
Position Title: Program Assistant

General Description: The Program Assistant communicates with organizational components, family and community representatives in a consistent manner. Reports directly to the Area Director. Works cooperatively with Program Director.
Education Requirements: High School graduate or equivalent; minimum one year of experience in the field. Must have a valid NC driver’s license and be at least 18 years of age.
Clearance Requirements: Clear healthcare registry and background check. Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screening.
Hours: (Monday-Friday) (Part-time:15 hours/week)
The successful candidate will be responsible for completing the following duties:
- File all documentation.
- Make new charts when an intake is completed.
- Close out charts when the participants case closes.
- Print and upload monthly notes.
- Review charts monthly and send needed documents to Employment Specialists and Area Directors.
- Attend weekly staff meetings.
- Greet people served and notify Employment Specialist and/or Area Director of their arrival.
- Shred paperwork as needed.
- Perform light cleaning duties.
- Answer phone and direct calls accordingly.
- Send charts to QA/QI monthly as requested.
- Read and initial all memos and notices.
- Attend all required in-service training courses.
- Always Maintain confidentiality.
- Responsive for knowing and adhering to all Federal, State, City, Cape Fear Group Homes, Inc. procedures, directives, and regulations.
- Complete other duties as delegated by immediate supervisor.
