Job Description

Global Operations Lead

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Global Operations Lead based in the United States.

As Global Operations Lead, you will own complex, high-priority operational programs that span functions, geographies, and organizational boundaries. You will bring structure to ambiguous initiatives such as M&A integrations, market expansion, entity formation, and major operational transitions. Working across People, Recruiting, Finance, Legal, Tax, IT, and other teams, you will coordinate dependencies, drive decisions, and keep execution moving. This is a highly hands-on role where you will be expected to understand the details, identify gaps, and step in wherever needed. You will also turn lessons from major programs into repeatable processes, playbooks, and operating infrastructure. The role offers broad visibility and the opportunity to shape how a rapidly scaling organization operates globally.

Accountabilities:
  • Own complex, high-priority programs from initial planning through execution and handoff, including M&A diligence and integration, geographic expansion, entity formation, and major operational transitions.
  • Build and manage comprehensive program plans that translate ambiguous objectives into clear requirements, workstreams, owners, dependencies, readiness gates, and decisions.
  • Proactively identify risks and blockers, coordinate resolutions, and adapt program plans as circumstances and requirements evolve.
  • Connect cross-functional work across People, Recruiting, Finance, Legal, Tax, IT, and other teams, ensuring dependencies and downstream impacts are identified early.
  • Develop repeatable operational infrastructure, including templates, SOPs, playbooks, and processes that improve future program execution.
  • Drive critical decisions by developing clear points of view, framing trade-offs, coordinating stakeholders, and ensuring decisions translate into action.
  • Own program communications and change management, providing concise executive updates while ensuring employees affected by changes receive clear and thoughtful communication.
  • Keep employee experience at the center of operational initiatives, particularly during high-change periods such as team integrations, new-market launches, and employment infrastructure transitions.
  • Work directly with functional experts while remaining accountable for overall program progress, execution quality, and outcomes.
  • Use AI tools to improve program planning, information synthesis, decision-making, communication, and execution efficiency.

Requirements:

  • 7+ years of experience leading complex, cross-functional programs in fast-moving environments.
  • Meaningful experience supporting M&A transactions and integrations across multiple stages of the lifecycle.
  • Hands-on operating style with a strong bias toward action and the ability to step into gaps and solve problems directly.
  • Strong judgment when navigating ambiguity, including the ability to determine when deeper diligence is necessary and when a practical solution should simply be implemented.
  • Proven ability to manage stakeholders and align specialists and senior leaders across functions without relying on formal authority.
  • Strong executive communication skills, with the ability to distill complex programs into clear decisions, risks, dependencies, and trade-offs.
  • Ability to adapt communication effectively across audiences, from senior executives and functional specialists to employees affected by operational changes.
  • Strong cross-functional collaboration skills and the ability to understand how decisions in one workstream affect other areas of the organization.
  • Strong AI fluency, with experience using AI as an integral part of your workflow to synthesize information, navigate ambiguity, accelerate execution, and improve the quality of your work.
  • Comfortable operating in rapidly changing environments where processes and solutions may need to be developed as the organization scales.

Benefits:

  • $120,000–$200,000 USD annual compensation.
  • Equity participation.
  • Bonus eligibility.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision coverage.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company matching contributions of up to 4%.
  • Flexible paid time off.
  • Fully remote work environment.
  • Opportunity to work on high-impact global operational programs in a rapidly scaling organization.
  • Exposure to cross-functional initiatives spanning M&A, international expansion, organizational infrastructure, and operational transformation.
  • Equal opportunity workplace with reasonable accommodations available for applicants with disabilities.
