Project Director / Licensed Mental Health Practitioner in Bronx, New York at Vocational Instruction Project Community Services Inc.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Under the direction of executive program leadership, the Project Director provides overall leadership and day-to-day management of the MAT-PDOA project. The Project Director oversees implementation of all required activities, supervises project staff, ensures timely and accurate data collection and reporting, maintains compliance with all federal terms and conditions, and provides clinical supervision and fidelity oversight for Motivational Interviewing and Contingency Management. This is a key personnel position under the NOFO.

POSITION DESCRIPTION:

• Direct all project operations and ensure goals, objectives, and required activities are met on schedule.
• Supervise project staff and provide clinical supervision for the engagement and retention team.
• Oversee fidelity of Motivational Interviewing and Contingency Management, including training and monitoring.
• Ensure timely, accurate reporting in SPARS and coordinate with the Project Evaluator on performance measurement.
• Maintain compliance with 2 CFR 200, HIPAA, 42 CFR Part 2, and all award terms and conditions.
• Coordinate integration of project services with the OTP, CCBHC, and co-located FQHC.
• Lead continuous quality improvement, including monthly data review and Plan-Do-Study-Act cycles.

JOB QUALIFICATIONS:

• Master’s degree and current New York State licensure as a mental health practitioner (LMHC, LCSW, or equivalent).
• Minimum of five years of experience serving individuals with opioid or other substance use disorders.
• Demonstrated supervisory and program-management experience in a substance use disorder or behavioral health setting.
• Knowledge of MOUD, OTP operations, evidence-based practices, and federal grant compliance.
• Meets the NOFO minimum 50% level of effort for the Project Director (funded at 100%).

JOB SETTING:

Office setting, with travel between clinic-based and community service locations as needed.
