Position Summary:
A Production Scheduler supports manufacturing operations by ensuring materials, manpower, setups, fixtures, and information are aligned. This role guarantees that production runs smoothly and predictably so that projects remain on pace for customers.

- You will coordinate production, procurement, engineering, and shipping, assigning labour based on priorities and capacity to keep production efficient.
- You will monitor progress and proactively resolve bottlenecks or risks while performing daily checks to support quality and safety standards.
- You will ensure materials, tools, fixtures, and equipment are ready before work begins so that production runs smoothly.
- You will keep the shop floor visuals accurate and meaningful at all times while maintaining production metrics, KPIs, whiteboards, and visual management tools.
- You will lead daily production meetings to review readiness, workflow, safety, and performance, ensuring the schedule stays on track.
- You will identify opportunities to improve workflow, setup, and efficiency to contribute to the continuous growth of GGS productions.
- Other duties may be assigned.

Education and Technical Skills:
Successful candidates will have a secondary school diploma, or equivalent and a minimum of one year’s experience in coordinating production schedules, setups, materials, and labor; equivalent combinations of education, experience, and training are welcomed.
Skills and Abilities:
Qualified applicants will have a proactive mindset, organization skills, and the ability to multitask with many moving parts. The ideal candidate will demonstrate effective and prompt communication skills, the ability to collaborate with teams, and practical problem-solving skills. Individuals who have previous experience with ERP/MRP and comfortability owning metrics, dashboards, and visual systems are considered assets.
Physical Demands:
Successful candidates will be comfortable walking and standing for extended periods of time. Qualified applicants will be able to occasionally lift 50 pounds with or without help; be comfortable using computer screens, keyboards, and handheld devices; and be able to communicate, hear, and work in a low to moderate volume environment.

First Shift: Monday - Friday 8AM - 5PM; Overtime when necessary
