You'll bring in new business, champion our current clients, and make sure every project crosses the finish line looking like a champion. You are equal parts closer, collaborator and chaos‑tamer.
WHAT YOU’LL DO- Lead our sales team with focus on activity, prospecting and net new business.
- Develop new clients by making community and business connections and build a healthy, steady flow of new business opportunities.
- We are serious about funnel building. Always maintaining a healthy funnel of up to 200 potential customers. Moving them from long-term to short term over the course of several years if necessary.
- Activity is everything. Phone calls, gifts, handwritten cards, social events, lunches and dinners are all required.
- Drive and coach our other Account Executives to have the same levels of activity and funnel building.
- Prospect, pitch, and close with confidence and flair.
- Translate client goals into tangible concepts with creative direction and campaign strategy
- Keep projects on time and on budget
- Spot opportunities for growth and upsell based on your partnerships with your clients
- Present ideas and analytic reports with clarity and vision
- Accurately input tasks into project management software and maintain direction with the production team
- Invoice clients monthly or per project.
- Will require occasional travel (25%)
- In-Office Job. Not a remote position. Most time will be spent outside of the office prospecting. Home base will be in office.
- Other duties as assigned
- Bachelor of Science in Business, Marketing, Management or adjacent discipline, or equivalent experience
- 5+ years of sales experience
- Understanding of marketing and sales approach for marketing products and deliverables.
- A sixth sense for brand strategy and creative execution
- Killer communication skills—written, verbal, emoji
- A love for timelines, task lists, results, and making things actually happen
