LPN- Wound Care Clinic in Flowood, Mississippi at MDB Health Services

We are seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our growing wound care clinic in Jackson, Mississippi. The LPN will work closely with physicians, nurse practitioners, and clinical staff to provide high-quality wound management services to patients with acute and chronic wounds. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful impact while working in a supportive outpatient clinical environment.

Location: Jackson, Mississippi
Employment Type: Full-Time
Schedule: Monday–Thursday, Day Shift

• Assist providers with wound assessments, treatments, and procedures.
• Perform wound dressing changes according to physician orders and established protocols.
• Monitor patient progress and document treatment outcomes accurately in the electronic medical record (EMR).
• Educate patients and caregivers regarding wound care, infection prevention, and treatment plans.
• Obtain and record vital signs, medical histories, and patient concerns.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized treatment environment.
• Coordinate patient care and follow-up appointments.
• Assist with inventory management and ordering of wound care supplies.
• Adhere to all clinic policies, HIPAA regulations, and infection control standards.

• Current Mississippi Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) license in good standing.
• Graduate of an accredited practical nursing program.
• Current CPR/BLS certification.
• Excellent communication and patient education abilities.

• Previous wound care, dermatology, vascular, surgical, home health, or outpatient clinic experience.
• Experience with electronic medical records (EMR).
