BUSINESS OFFICE MANAGER in Grantsburg, Wisconsin at Burnett Medical Center Inc

Burnett Medical Center is seeking a full-time Business Office Manager with medical billing experience and understanding of the full revenue cycle.

SHIFT & HOURS: Full-time, Monday - Friday

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Oversees the financial operations of the medical facility. They manage the end-to-end medical billing process, supervise business office staff, and optimize cash flow by ensuring accurate coding, claims submission and denial management.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business and Finance is preferred, or equivalent years of progressive experience.
• 3-5+ years of progressive experience in medical billing, coding, and financial management, including supervisory experience.
• Deep understanding of medical terminology, HCPCS/CPT/ICD-10 coding, and proficiency with E.H.R. software.
• Requires critical thinking, project management, and conflict resolution.
• Ability to communicate verbally and in writing in order to interpret and explain business policies to employees and patients. Mathematical ability required to prepare activity reports and determine accuracy of employees’ work. Has the aptitude to work with patients and their representatives under stressful situations. Has a working knowledge of government billing programs.
• Ability to work efficiently with computers.
