This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Product Manager – AI Products based in India.
This role is at the forefront of building next-generation AI-native enterprise experiences, where product thinking meets advanced machine learning systems. You will help define and scale AI capabilities that power personalized, intelligent, and action-oriented workflows across a large enterprise SaaS platform. The position involves working deeply with AI engineers, data scientists, and cross-functional stakeholders to translate complex AI systems into usable, scalable product features. You will shape the roadmap for AI agents, retrieval systems, evaluation frameworks, and orchestration layers that drive meaningful user outcomes. The role blends strategic product leadership with strong technical fluency in modern AI architectures. You will also play a key role in defining how AI is evaluated, governed, and operationalized at scale. You will be responsible for defining and driving the AI product strategy, ensuring that AI capabilities are effectively translated into scalable, reliable, and high-impact enterprise features. You will work across engineering, design, and business teams to build AI-native systems that improve employee experience and platform intelligence.
- Define and own the roadmap for AI-powered platform capabilities, including agents, retrieval systems, and intelligent automation features
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams to identify high-impact AI use cases aligned with customer and business needs
- Translate product vision into detailed requirements including user stories, success metrics, and evaluation criteria for AI systems
- Work closely with AI/ML engineers to design and refine models, APIs, orchestration frameworks, and enterprise integrations
- Drive development of reusable AI platform components such as model gateways, prompt management systems, observability tools, and governance layers
- Define and implement AI evaluation frameworks including offline/online testing, golden datasets, regression suites, and feedback loops
- Establish standards for AI reliability, scalability, latency optimization, cost management, and operational resilience
- Ensure responsible AI practices including security, privacy, compliance, auditability, and explainability across all AI features
- Partner on the design of AI tool interfaces, APIs, and MCP-style integrations for enterprise interoperability
- Work with go-to-market and customer-facing teams to drive AI adoption, enablement, and measurable business impact
- Stay current with advancements in GenAI, agents, orchestration frameworks, and emerging AI standards to shape product direction
- Act as a subject matter expert in enterprise AI productization across internal and external stakeholders
The ideal candidate brings strong product management experience combined with deep technical understanding of AI systems and enterprise SaaS environments. You should be comfortable operating at both strategic and hands-on levels in fast-evolving AI landscapes.
- 6+ years of product management experience in enterprise SaaS, with at least 2+ years focused on AI/ML or AI-native products
- Strong technical understanding of modern AI systems including LLMs, embeddings, vector databases, RAG, agents, and orchestration frameworks
- Experience designing and operating AI evaluation frameworks, metrics, and performance measurement systems
- Strong systems thinking with ability to reason across complex AI workflows, including tools, memory, and agent-based architectures
- Hands-on familiarity with prompt engineering, context engineering, and conversational AI systems
- Experience working closely with AI engineering, data science, and platform teams to deliver production-grade AI products
- Strong understanding of AI platform architecture including latency, cost optimization, observability, and model routing strategies
- Knowledge of AI governance, security, privacy, and responsible AI practices including mitigation of failure modes and hallucinations
- Experience defining APIs, integrations, and enterprise AI interaction patterns (including MCP-style systems)
- Strong analytical mindset with experience using telemetry, experimentation, and user feedback to drive decisions
- Excellent communication skills with ability to translate technical AI concepts into clear product narratives
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, or a related technical field
