Description:

The Software Developer, Applications (Senior)/Project Manager serves as the technical lead responsible for overall contract execution, customer engagement, and delivery of SharePoint administration, application development, and modernization services. The position provides technical leadership for SharePoint Online and Microsoft 365 solutions while managing Agile project execution, customer priorities, staffing, quality assurance, risk management, and contract performance. The individual serves as the primary interface with the Government and ensures all technical solutions meet business requirements, security standards, and schedule commitments.

Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary point of contact between the Government and contractor team.
  • Provide overall project management, technical leadership, and contract oversight.
  • Lead Agile planning activities, sprint execution, backlog management, and status reporting.
  • Manage SharePoint administration, configuration management, release management, and software deployment activities.
  • Lead the design, development, enhancement, testing, and maintenance of SharePoint-based business applications utilizing HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, Power Automate, Power Apps, and Power BI.
  • Translate business requirements into technical designs, application architecture, and implementation plans.
  • Oversee software development lifecycle activities including requirements analysis, design reviews, unit testing, user acceptance testing, and production deployment.
  • Ensure complete traceability between business requirements, system design, development tasks, testing, and production releases.
  • Develop and maintain technical documentation, system documentation, user guides, and configuration documentation.
  • Coordinate defect management, change requests, bug fixes, and enhancement activities while minimizing operational disruption.
  • Identify technical, schedule, and program risks and implement mitigation strategies to maintain contract performance.
  • Monitor performance metrics, quality objectives, and customer satisfaction while ensuring compliance with contract requirements.
  • Mentor development staff and provide technical guidance to ensure consistent implementation of best practices and coding standards.

Qualifications:

  • Demonstrated experience leading application development projects utilizing Agile methodologies.
  • Extensive experience designing, developing, testing, and deploying SharePoint and Microsoft 365 solutions.
  • Experience developing applications utilizing HTML, JavaScript, jQuery, Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI.
  • Experience managing software releases, configuration management, and change management processes.
  • Strong understanding of software development lifecycle (SDLC), requirements management, quality assurance, and technical documentation.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with experience briefing Government stakeholders.
  • Ability to lead cross-functional technical teams while managing multiple priorities in a dynamic customer environment.
  • Years of Experience: Minimum 8 years of progressively responsible experience in software application development, systems analysis, and technical leadership.
  • Education Level: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Software Engineering, Information Systems, or a related technical discipline.
  • Clearance Requirements: Ability to obtain and maintain the required Government suitability/Public Trust determination.
  • Certification Requirements: None required.
    • Preferred certifications include:
      • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Solution Architect Expert
      • Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate
      • Microsoft Certified: Microsoft 365 Certified Administrator Expert
      • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or PMI Agile Certified Practitioner (PMI-ACP)
      • Project Management Professional (PMP)
  • Any other work-related qualifications needed for the role:
    • Experience supporting Federal Government Microsoft 365 and SharePoint environments.
    • Experience managing SharePoint Online modernization initiatives.
    • Experience with Agile project management, Azure DevOps or similar work management tools.
    • Knowledge of configuration management, release management, and software quality assurance processes.
    • Familiarity with Section 508 accessibility requirements and Federal information security practices.
    • Demonstrated ability to lead technical teams, manage customer relationships, and deliver complex IT projects within established schedules.

Salary Range: $101,821 to $156,428

The compensation range listed for this position represents the good faith salary range Din Development Corporation (DDC) and its subsidiaries reasonably expect to pay for the role, in accordance with applicable state and local pay transparency laws. Actual compensation will be determined based on a variety of factors, including the position's responsibilities, the candidate's education, experience, skills, internal equity, market considerations, and any applicable collective bargaining agreements or legal requirements.
