BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:
- B.S. in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university or equivalent experience in a related field. MSEE is a plus.
- 0-3 years of professional hands-on experience in Electrical Engineering.
- Comfort working with:
- Command-line tools
- Technical/debug environments
- Strong attention to detail in measurement and data recording
- Ability to:
- Follow structured test procedures
- Document test conditions accurately
- Strong curiosity and problem-solving mindset
- Good organizational and communication skills
- Ability to work in a fast-paced debugging environment
- Up to 20% of travel may be required between locations.
- Ability to travel for work-related purposes as needed; access to reliable transportation is required due to the nature of our business and multiple client sites.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship.
- Background checks are required.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
- Experience with:
- Hardware bring-up
- Power measurement
- Battery testing
- Familiarity with:
- Android debugging tools (ADB)
- Mobile configuration systems
- Basic scripting skills:
- Python
- Bash
- This role focuses on supporting power and battery-life validation (DOU) for next-generation wearable devices.
- Execute repeatable power and DOU (Days of Use) test procedures on hardware devices
- Flash device builds (user-debug / OCB) and configure system settings (MCCLI overrides)
- Capture and log:
- Power-rail measurements
- Battery performance data
- Organize and maintain structured test data and reports
- Track test runs in shared systems and flag anomalies early
- Collaborate with engineers to:
- Reproduce bugs/regressions
- Validate fixes
