You’ll work closely with cross-functional teams and customers to ensure that AI-generated designs meet real-world engineering challenges, leading efforts in data collection for training AI models. This is a high-impact role where you’ll drive the integration of AI into electrical design and lead a team in delivering cutting-edge hardware solutions.
Key Responsibilities:
  • Design, simulate, and validate electrical circuit boards integrated into AI-driven semiconductor and electronics products.
  • Work closely with customers to gather feedback on AI-generated designs and address real-world electrical engineering challenges.
  • Collaborate with ML engineers, product managers, and firmware engineers to create AI-generated electrical designs.
  • Lead efforts in gathering data for electrical component training and AI model validation.
  • Oversee manufacturing bring-up, validation, and testing of electrical circuit designs.
  • Hire, mentor, and lead a team of electrical engineers to support AI-based hardware design products.

Required Skill Sets:
  • Expertise in circuit design, including analog and digital circuits, microcontroller systems, and power management.
  • Experience in PCB design and layout using tools like Altium, Eagle, or KiCad, from concept to manufacturing.
  • Deep knowledge of embedded systems and familiarity with microcontrollers, FPGAs, and communication protocols (SPI, I2C, CAN, UART, etc.).
  • Strong understanding of power electronics, signal integrity, and PCB debugging using lab equipment (oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, etc.).
  • Proficiency in hardware-software co-design and collaboration with firmware engineers.
  • Ability to collaborate with customers to translate their requirements into optimized technical designs.
  • Experience in mentoring and managing a team of electrical engineers and leading projects.

Nice-to-Have:
  • Familiarity with AI/ML techniques related to hardware design automation.
  • Experience with simulation and design tools like LTSpice for circuit analysis and CAD tools for mechanical design.
  • Knowledge of data collection and validation for AI model training.
  • Python programming experience for test automation.
