  • Communicate effectively with internal teams, external stakeholders, and program partners.
  • Manage competing priorities while working independently and contributing to team objectives.
  • Assist with occasional program activities and travel within Indigenous communities when required.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a detail-oriented professional with experience in finance, accounting, reporting, or operational analysis. This role requires strong data skills, financial awareness, and the ability to communicate clearly while managing independent responsibilities.

  • 1–2 years of experience in finance, accounting, financial operations, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of invoicing, expense tracking, financial reporting, and data accuracy.
  • Exceptional attention to detail and ability to identify inconsistencies.
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and confidence working with large datasets.
  • Experience using AI tools such as Copilot or Claude for analysis and reporting is preferred.
  • Experience with Power Query and/or Power BI is an asset.
  • Degree or diploma in Business, Accounting, Finance, or a related discipline is preferred.

  • Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and collaboratively in a remote setting.
Benefits:
  • Remote work opportunity within Canada, particularly supporting Central to Atlantic time zones.
  • Competitive hourly compensation ranging from approximately $26 to $28 per hour.
  • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance with employer premium support.
  • Life, accidental death and dismemberment, and long-term disability coverage.
  • RRSP matching program.
  • Paid vacation, sick leave, personal time, and company holidays.
  • Paid volunteer time and employee recognition programs.
  • Employee assistance program supporting personal and professional well-being.
  • Access to training opportunities and career development resources.
