Description:
Labconco Corporation, a trusted manufacturer of premium laboratory equipment with over 100 years of excellence, is seeking a detail-oriented Material Handler to support warehouse operations. This role is responsible for receiving, picking, packing, and internal distribution of materials while serving as a key liaison between warehouse operations and other departmental material handlers to ensure uninterrupted production and shipping flow.
Essential Duties & Responsibilities- Receive, verify, and accurately document incoming materials and products
- Pick, stage, and pack materials for internal use, intercompany transfers, and outbound shipments
- Coordinate closely with material handlers in manufacturing and other departments to ensure timely availability of required parts and products
- Operate sit-down forklift and other material handling equipment safely and efficiently
- Maintain accurate inventory movement through ERP and basic computer systems
- Prepare materials for packaging, crating, or distribution per established procedures
- Maintain clean, organized, and safe warehouse and staging areas
- Perform general housekeeping and support continuous improvement initiatives
- Follow all safety, quality, and company procedures
- Perform other duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Previous material handling or warehouse experience
- Sit-down forklift experience required
- Ability to lift up to approximately 50 lbs
- High attention to detail with the ability to work accurately with minimal supervision
- Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple requests in a fast-paced environment
- Basic computer literacy
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Demonstrated initiative, reliability, and teamwork mindset
- Experience in a manufacturing or production-support warehouse environment
- Familiarity with inventory control or ERP systems
- Prior experience supporting cross-functional production teams
