This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Tax Manager based in United States.

This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead critical corporate tax operations within a dynamic, global business environment. You will play a key role in overseeing income tax provisions, ensuring compliance with U.S. federal, state, and local tax regulations, and supporting financial reporting requirements. Working closely with finance leaders, external auditors, and cross-functional teams, you will contribute to tax planning initiatives, process improvements, and strategic projects. This position is ideal for an experienced tax professional with strong ASC 740 expertise, technical knowledge of U.S. corporate taxation, and a passion for delivering accurate, high-quality results. You'll thrive in a collaborative environment where your expertise directly supports business growth and regulatory excellence.

Accountabilities:

As Tax Manager, you will oversee the company's U.S. tax provision and compliance processes while ensuring timely, accurate reporting and supporting strategic tax initiatives. You will collaborate with internal stakeholders and external advisors to maintain compliance, strengthen internal controls, and optimize tax operations.

  • Lead the preparation and review of quarterly and annual income tax provisions in accordance with ASC 740, including deferred tax calculations, valuation allowances, and FIN 48 analyses.
  • Prepare and review tax disclosures for financial reporting, including SEC filings, effective tax rate reconciliations, and deferred tax analyses.
  • Manage U.S. federal, state, and local corporate income tax compliance, including the preparation and review of consolidated tax returns and estimated tax payments.
  • Support tax planning initiatives related to international taxation, including GILTI, Subpart F, FDII, BEAT, and foreign tax credits.
  • Coordinate with external auditors during financial statement audits and manage tax-related SOX documentation and internal controls.
  • Monitor changes in tax legislation, research technical tax matters, and provide recommendations to support business decisions.
  • Assist with tax audits, examinations, transfer pricing activities, and other cross-functional finance and tax projects.
  • Identify opportunities to improve tax processes, reporting accuracy, and operational efficiency.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate combines extensive corporate tax experience with deep technical expertise in ASC 740 and U.S. taxation. Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment are essential.

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Tax, or a related field.
  • CPA designation or Master's degree in Tax required (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • 8+ years of corporate tax experience, ideally combining Big Four public accounting and in-house corporate tax experience.
  • Strong hands-on experience preparing ASC 740 tax provisions and SEC tax disclosures.
  • In-depth knowledge of U.S. corporate taxation, including international tax concepts such as GILTI, Subpart F, FDII, BEAT, and foreign tax credits.
  • Experience supporting tax audits and collaborating with external advisors.
  • Familiarity with corporate tax software and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
  • Knowledge of SOX compliance, tax controls, and transfer pricing is considered an advantage.
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, communication, and project management skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with cross-functional teams.
Benefits:
  • Competitive annual compensation based on U.S. geographic location, ranging from $102,700 to $263,000 USD, depending on location and experience.
  • Performance-based bonus opportunities.
  • Unlimited paid time off.
  • 12 paid holidays, including dedicated global wellness days.
  • Paid volunteer hours each year.
  • Paid parental leave, including enhanced leave for birthing parents.
  • Medical, dental, and vision insurance starting on your first day.
  • Mental health support, therapy resources, and employee assistance programs.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with company matching.
  • Fertility, adoption, and surrogacy assistance.
  • Healthcare and dependent care spending accounts.
  • Legal services, identity protection, supplemental insurance options, and virtual pet healthcare.
  • Extensive learning and development resources, including mentoring, workshops, and on-demand training platforms.
