Senior Strategic Finance Analyst

This position is listed on behalf of a partner company, who manages all applications and next steps. Our partner is looking for a Senior Strategic Finance Analyst based in United States.

This role sits at the intersection of strategic finance, data analytics, and business partnering within a high-growth SaaS environment. The Senior Strategic Finance Analyst will play a key role in shaping financial visibility across the organization by building models, improving reporting infrastructure, and delivering insights that guide executive decision-making. This position supports both functional leaders and senior executives by translating complex financial and operational data into clear narratives that drive strategy and performance. You will own key components of financial planning systems, enhance forecasting accuracy, and help streamline finance workflows through automation and tooling. The environment is highly collaborative, data-driven, and fast-paced, offering strong exposure to senior leadership including the CFO. This is an opportunity for a finance professional who enjoys combining analytical rigor with strategic influence in a modern, tech-enabled organization.

Accountabilities:
  • Build and maintain driver-based financial models and scenario analyses to support annual planning, forecasting, and long-range strategic decisions
  • Own and optimize financial planning infrastructure, ensuring data accuracy, model integrity, and reliable forecasting outputs
  • Serve as the primary finance partner for non-headcount and operational expense management, tracking spend against budget and identifying risks and opportunities
  • Develop executive-ready reporting and insights for monthly, quarterly, and annual business performance reviews
  • Improve and automate KPI dashboards and reporting tools to enhance visibility and reduce manual reporting efforts
  • Partner cross-functionally with GTM, Engineering, Analytics, and Finance teams to evaluate initiatives, build business cases, and define key metrics
  • Conduct ad hoc financial and operational analyses to support strategic growth, efficiency initiatives, and executive decision-making
  • Continuously improve financial systems, tools, and workflows by identifying automation opportunities and enhancing data processes
  • Support forecasting, budgeting, and performance analysis across key SaaS and GTM metrics

Requirements:

  • 3–5+ years of experience in FP&A, strategic finance, corporate finance, or a similar analytical finance role
  • Strong financial modeling skills with advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets
  • Experience managing budgets, forecasting processes, or expense tracking for business functions or departments
  • Hands-on experience with financial planning tools such as Pigment, Anaplan, Adaptive Insights, or similar platforms
  • Strong understanding of SaaS business models and key metrics such as ARR, NRR, churn, bookings, and revenue recognition
  • Experience working with data tools such as Salesforce, Looker, NetSuite, or similar systems; SQL exposure is a plus
  • Ability to translate complex data into clear, executive-ready insights and narratives
  • Strong communication skills with confidence presenting to cross-functional stakeholders and leadership teams
  • High level of ownership, curiosity, and ability to work effectively in ambiguous, fast-changing environments
  • Interest in leveraging automation and AI tools to improve financial workflows and decision-making efficiency

Benefits:

  • Competitive salary range of USD 100,000–115,000+ depending on experience and qualifications
  • Performance-based bonus and variable compensation opportunities
  • Fully remote work environment with flexibility and work-life balance
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, vision, and disability insurance coverage
  • 401(k) plan with employer contributions
  • Generous PTO policy including vacation, sick leave, and paid holidays
  • Home office stipend, internet and phone reimbursement, and coworking support
  • Strong learning and development programs with access to training platforms and internal mobility opportunities
  • Inclusive, remote-first culture focused on transparency, collaboration, and continuous improvement
