Hyundai-Mobis Parts Miami (MPMI), LLC, a subsidiary of Hyundai MOBIS, is a Tier 1 OEM genuine auto parts and accessories supplier to Hyundai, Kia and Genesis distributors throughout the South American, Central American, and Caribbean markets. We are currently seeking a Sales Representative Central + South America to join our Miami, FL team.
SUMMARY
Under the direction of the Sales Manager, the Central/South American Sales Rep will be responsible for achievement of sales target established by Company’s goals. This position entitles the responsibility to sale, collect payments, and customer service on a daily basis for a specified territory assigned by the manager. Included in their routine, they need to obtain sales data from the customers as well as some marketing information. The main objective of this position is to increase sales of genuine parts & Accessories business. Additionally, the sales rep has to prepare weekly meetings and support the other sales representatives on solving some issues. This position requires up to 50% international travel in order to perform some of the duties and reach the objectives.
Major Responsibilities Include:
Persuade customers to place orders – internal sales
Accounts receivables – collections
Customer care (answer phone calls, e-mails, and other communications)
Obtain market information (sales, grey market, vehicle sales)
Prepare weekly meeting reports
Visit customers periodically internationally – customer operation performance review
Sales review + process direct shipments
PERSONALLY PERFORMED DUTIES
· Review the total sales on a daily basis
· Prepare weekly sales report
· Review the pending payment balance on a weekly basis and ask our sales team to contact customers to collect their payments.
· Prepare monthly reports
· Reply to customer inquiries on a daily basis – customer service
· Support our sales staff who is in need of help resolving a customer issue
· Visit distributors to enhance their parts operation
· Obtain market information
· Review with distributor marketing plan and how to implement
· Persuade distributors to place stock orders on a timely matter
· Analyze distributor purchasing behavior to look for new market opportunities
· Travel internationally: 30~50%
· Prepare and deliver professional business presentations for distributors meetings, territory visits, highlighting sales performance, KPIs, Order trend, operational opportunities, strategic initiatives, and action plans.
· Develop and implement strategic sales initiatives to increase Genuine Parts & Accessories sales and improve customer engagement.
· All other duties assigned by supervisor/manager
JOB REQUIREMENTS
Education
Bachelor’s degree in business administration, international business or marketing
Overall Related Experience
1 to 2 years of experience in internal sales, order processing, or customer service
Basic understanding in logistics is a plus
Communication: Must be 100% bilingual in English + Spanish (read, speak, write)
SKILLS
Proficient in Microsoft programs such as: Excel (Advanced), Word, and Power Point
Knowledge of AS400 Inventory System is a plus
100% Bilingual English + Spanish (speak, read, write) required
Organized
Good communication skills
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
- Occasionally move about inside the office to access file cabinets, office machinery, etc.
- Constantly operates a computer and other office productivity machinery, such as a calculator, copy machine, and computer printer.
- Must be able to remain in a stationary position at least 50%.
- Travel is required 25-50%
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds chest high
