No On-Call Required and Vehicle Included!
Hudson has an amazing opportunity for an experienced Maintenance Supervisor to join the Hudson Residential team as a traveling Maintenance Specialist. The ideal candidate will reside in the greater Indianapolis area. The position will provide assistance and training at our eight central Indiana communities, our community in Fort Wayne, as well as our two communities located in the Cincinnati market. Some overnight travel will be necessary and Hudson Residential will pay for all travel costs. This position will not be responsible for responding to after-hours calls. (yes, you read that correctly!)
Responsibilities
- Provide 1 on 1 training to new team members.
- Assisting in completing work orders initiated by residents or the Property Directors.
- Fabricating parts as needed to support maintenance tasks and repairs.
- Reading and interpreting schematics to understand system layouts and electrical connections.
- Maintaining accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs performed.
- Supervising maintenance projects, ensuring compliance with safety standards and regulations.
- Collaborating with other team members to address facility maintenance needs effectively.
- Assisting in the preparation of vacant apartment homes for new residents.
Requirements
- HVAC troubleshooting and ability to make repairs.
- Repair and maintenance of simple electrical circuits, switches, outlets and lighting fixtures.
- Appliance troubleshooting.
- Moderate plumbing knowledge. (demonstrated ability to repair/install water heaters, dishwashers, lavatories, etc.)
- Ability to prioritize workload based on the needs of the business.
- Possess a high degree of accountability and takes ownership of work completed.
- Strong desire to work collaboratively as a team to reach established goals.
- EPA Certification is required.
- Valid Indiana Driver's License and a clean driving record for the past five years.
