Candidate must reside within commuting distance to Metairieand New Orleans for in office schedule prior to starting employment. Positionis a hybrid of reporting to the Metairie office, the client office in NewOrleans and work from home.
JobSummary:
The Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for developing,enhancing, and maintaining applications using the Microsoft PowerPlatformPower Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI; supporting processautomationneeds through innovative workflow solutions; and working with clients tounderstand reporting requirements and communicate potential solutions.
JobDuties and Responsibilities:
Develop an understanding of SharePoint and MSSQL as backend platforms that support frontend solutions developed in PowerApps.
Host meetings with stakeholders to understandtheir work processes, automation opportunities, and reporting requirements.
Communicate potential solutions to allrelevant stakeholders.
Design, build, and maintain Power Appsapplications that support workflows, data entry, and operational processes.
Develop Power Automate flows to automatebusiness processes, notifications, data movement, and integrations withinternal systems.
Utilize Python to support data transformation,automation logic, and integration tasks when needed.
Develop Power BI dashboards and reportingsolutions for users to efficiently navigate and interpret required data.
Develop and implement routine tests topreserve data integrity across Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BIsolutions.
Triage errors and user expectation gaps andcollaborate with stakeholders to resolve issues.
Qualifications(Knowledge, Skills and Abilities):
Bachelors degree in related field required(Computer Information Systems, Computer Science, Computer Engineering) required
Requires one (1) year to five (5) yearsMicrosoft Power Platform experience
Requires the ability to manage multipleprojects and determine priorities
Proven ability in preparing writtencommunications
Must have strong interpersonal andcommunication skills
Preferred Qualifications:
Business Intelligence Reporting experience
Microsoft Power Platform or similarcertification
Working knowledge Oracle Primavera
