Busser - PT in Santa Rosa, California at Vinarosa Resort and Spa

The Busser / Server Assistant supports the Food & Beverage service team by maintaining clean, organized, and well-prepared dining environments that enable exceptional guest experiences at Vinarosa Resort. This role is essential to service flow, table readiness, and overall operational efficiency across restaurants, bars, lounges, and event venues. Bussers work closely with servers, hosts, and leadership to ensure tables are cleared, reset, and staged promptly according to service standards. Attention to cleanliness, urgency, and detail is critical to guest perception and satisfaction. The role contributes directly to service pace, table turns, and team productivity. Through teamwork and consistency, the Busser helps uphold luxury brand standards and supports positive guest impressions.

· Clear and reset tables promptly in accordance with service standards

· Maintain cleanliness of dining areas, service stations, and guest pathways

· Assist servers with pre-bussing, water service, and table maintenance

· Stock and replenish linens, silverware, glassware, and service supplies

· Support service pacing by ensuring tables are guest-ready at all times

· Assist with opening, closing, and side work duties as assigned

· Transport dirty dishes and glassware safely to dishwashing areas

· Follow food safety, sanitation, and hygiene standards consistently

· Communicate table status and guest needs to servers and hosts

· Support banquet and event service execution when scheduled

· Handle service equipment safely and responsibly

· Respond professionally to guest requests and escalate when appropriate

· Demonstrate reliability, accountability, and urgency during service

· Maintain a guest-first mindset in all support functions

· Communicate clearly and respectfully with team members

· Remain calm and focused during peak service periods

· Collaborate closely with servers, hosts, and kitchen teams

· Uphold appearance, grooming, and conduct standards

· Contribute positively to a culture of teamwork and mutual support

· Previous restaurant or hospitality experience preferred but not required

· Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment

· Strong attention to cleanliness and detail

· Clear communication and teamwork skills

· Commitment to service excellence and safety standards

This position requires standing and walking for extended periods, lifting and carrying items up to 40 pounds, and frequent bending and reaching. Flexible availability is required, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and special events.

The work environment includes indoor and outdoor dining areas within a luxury resort setting. Employees may be exposed to varying noise levels, temperatures, and guest volumes.
