This role focuses on delivering engaging online learning experiences in animation and motion design while supporting students throughout their academic journey.

• Facilitate online classes, workshops, and learning activities focused on Animation and Motion Design concepts, techniques, and industry practices.
• Support students throughout their learning journey by providing guidance, feedback, and academic assistance in a remote learning environment.
• Develop, review, and maintain academic content while ensuring alignment with qualification standards and learning objectives.
• Evaluate student work through assessments, grading, moderation, and constructive feedback to support learner development.
• Ensure academic integrity, compliance, and quality standards are consistently maintained across all learning activities.
• Guide students in areas such as 2D animation, 3D animation, motion graphics, storyboarding, asset creation, and concept development.
• Support curriculum improvement initiatives by collaborating with fellow facilitators and academic leadership.
• Manage online learning platforms, gradebooks, student records, and administrative tasks effectively.
• Facilitate workshops and provide practical demonstrations using relevant animation and design software.
• Stay updated with emerging technologies, creative tools, and industry trends to enhance teaching effectiveness.

• Master’s degree or equivalent advanced qualification in a relevant field.
• Bachelor’s degree in Animation and Motion Design, Digital Arts, or a related discipline.
• Minimum of 2 years of teaching or lecturing experience within a higher education environment.
• At least 2 years of professional experience in 2D or 3D animation is preferred.
• Experience with online facilitation, virtual workshops, and digital learning environments is highly valued.
• Strong knowledge of 2D traditional and digital animation techniques, including cutout animation workflows.
• Experience with animation and design software such as Toon Boom Harmony, Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Animate, or similar tools.
• Knowledge of 3D animation, sculpting, and software such as Blender.
• Experience managing online assessments, curriculum delivery, gradebooks, and learning improvement processes.
• Proficiency with Learning Management Systems, Microsoft Office, and digital collaboration tools.
• Strong administrative, organizational, and time management skills.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to engage and motivate students remotely.
• Ability to collaborate effectively with academic teams and contribute to a positive learning environment.
• Understanding of academic compliance requirements within higher education.
• Additional expertise in storyboarding, concept art, game asset creation, or motion graphics is an advantage.
• Comfortable using technology, software applications, social media platforms, and digital tools.
