Surgical Tech Student Intern
Job Summary
The Surgical Tech Student Intern is a temporary position for surgical tech students to practice in surgical areas. The Surgical Tech Student Intern is co-assigned with a Certified Surgical Tech and may perform direct and indirect patient care under Registered Nurse (RN) and/or Physician supervision.
Qualifications
Education
- Required
- High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent
- Enrolled in an accredited Surgical Tech program
Experience: N/A
Certification/Licensure:
- Required
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
- Must be obtained within ninety (90) days of start date
- Basic Life Support (BLS) Certification
