Reimbursement Specialist at Willis-Knighton Health System – Shreveport, Louisiana

We are seeking to add an experienced clerical team member to our outpatient physical medicine clinic at WK Rehab Institute. The ideal candidate will need to demonstrate a strong work ethic, flexibility, dependability, excellent communication skills, computer knowledge and initiative to work independently. We have an atmosphere of teamwork that we expect to continue with all new hires as you will interact with patients, clerical staff, therapy staff, and staff at other hospital departments, physician offices and insurance companies while assisting with the daily operation of our clinic. A few of the job responsibilities include giving excellent customer service, checking patients in and out, scheduling appointments, verifying insurances, answering the phones, taking messages, filing and data entry. Orientation will be provided upon completion of the hiring process as well as on-going training and mentorship. Hours of work are Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm.
