Vet Technician in Elkins Park, Pennsylvania at Rhawnhurst and Elkins Park Veterinary Hospitals

Rhawnhurst and Elkins Park Veterinary Offices are both owned and operated together but with 2 separate location. Rhawnhurst is in northeast Philadelphia and Elkins Park is 20 minutes away right outside of the city in Montgomery County. We are a 4 doctor general practice catering to small animals and exotics. We practice high quality and compassionate care. We have digital dental and regular x-ray systems, high quality dental instrumentation, and Impromed software at our disposal to help take care of our patients.

We are looking for an experienced veterinary technician to join our team. Our ideal candidate will have 2 or more years of experience assisting in exam rooms, along with performing venipuncture, radiology, pharmacy, laboratory duties as well as assist with a great customer care experience. Anesthesia, Surgery and Dental experience a definite plus but not required.

In addition, you must have excellent communication skills both with clients and your teammates. A typical work day requires flexibility; continuous attention to detail; the ability to work in a fast-paced environment and the ability to multitask. We are looking for someone who has flexibility to work a variety of shifts including weekdays, evenings and Saturdays.
