What We Do:

We place more emphasis on member care than any other PBM by focusing on health outcomes first. Our pharmacists and clinicians are at the center of everything we do―and our population health solution delivers tailored strategies for our clients.

Leveraging our newly launched, AI-powered pharmacy care platform, Clinically, EmpiRx Health’s pharmacists and client management teams provide the highest quality pharmacy care to our clients and their members. This enables benefits plan sponsors to keep their members healthy, happy, and productive, while substantially reducing prescription drug spending, which has been on an explosive growth trajectory in recent years.

Who We're Looking For:

EmpiRx Health is in unprecedented growth, and we're seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior FP&A Analyst.

If you are a highly motivated Sr. FP&A Analyst with a strong background in financial planning and analysis, and you are passionate about making a meaningful impact in the healthcare industry, we encourage you to apply.

What You'll Do:

As a Sr. FP&A Analyst, your role will encompass a wide range of responsibilities; here are a few:

  1. Lead monthly, quarterly, and annual financial forecasting and budgeting processes for PBM operations.
  2. Develop models for revenue, gross margin, and operating expenses tied to pharmacy claims, rebate performance, and contract terms.
  • Strategic Analysis & Decision Support:
  1. Provide financial insights to senior leadership to inform key business decisions (e.g., contract negotiations, formulary design, pricing strategies).
  2. Analyze cost drivers and profitability at client, product, and channel levels.
  • Performance Monitoring:
  1. Design and deliver performance dashboards and KPIs to track business health and identify trends or anomalies in claims volumes, gross margins, and utilization patterns.
  2. Conduct variance analysis comparing actual performance against forecast/budget.
  • Collaboration & Cross-Functional Support:
  1. Partner with Network, Underwriting, Clinical & Care Management, and Account Management teams to align financial metrics with operational insights.
  2. Support business cases for new initiatives, investments, or partnerships.
  • Reporting & Presentations:
  1. Prepare monthly executive reporting packages, including detailed P&L analysis and strategic commentary.
  2. Present findings to Finance leadership and executive stakeholders.

What You Need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field;
  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A with a concentration in revenue & gross margin
  • Strong understanding of PBM financial levers, such as drug mix, rebate structures, and formulary strategies.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial modeling; experience with ERP and BI tools (e.g., Hyperion, Oracle Planning, Domo)
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate complex data into actionable insights.
  • Detail-oriented, self-starter, and comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving environment.

Preferred Experience:

  • Direct experience with pharmacy claims data, rebate forecasting, or client-level profitability modeling.
  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A, with at least 2+ years in the PBM or broader healthcare space.

Why Join Us:
