Bush Brothers is a fifth-generation family-run meat purveyor based in West Palm Beach, FL. Established in 1925, we pride ourselves on best-in-class service, and a high-end protein portfolio. As a USDA inspected processing plant, we specialize in center-of-the-plate and portion-controlled offerings to meet the demands of Floridas high-end Hotel, Restaurant, and Country Club clientele. We process and distribute Beef, Veal, Lamb, Pork, Poultry, and Provisions throughout South and Central Florida as well as into the Caribbean.

In January 2024 we will be moving into a new, state-of-the-art processing facility in Royal Palm Beach. This brand new, 48,000 sq. ft. facility will more than triple our production and storage capacity.

Key accountabilities of Receiving and Warehouse Manager

Receiving, unloading, and warehousing, the finest meats that are destined for hotels, restaurants, and country clubs in Florida and the Caribbean. You will work with a team of 3-4 Associates to conduct these duties in an accurate and timely manner

Specific Duties

? Unloading incoming products (averaging 4-6 trucks per day)

? Checking/scanning in deliveries from our suppliers to ensure that product ordered matches product received.

? Organizing cooler/freezer storage, being mindful of the strategy and goals for efficient warehouse usage.

? Effectively communicating with Warehouse staff, as well as the production team to ensure that the product for further processing is available for the fabrication room.

? Restocking product from storage racks to picking racks.

? Keeping inventory counts accurate.

Hours

Position will be Monday through Saturday, (approximately) 5:30 am to 2:00 pm during summer months and (approximately) 5:00 am to 3:00 pm during "season" (November through May). Saturday will generally be completed closer to 11:00 am.

Qualifications

? At least 5 years of warehouse experience, including at least 2 years of leadership experience within the warehouse team.

? Prompt, daily attendance, combined with strong work ethic.

? Ability to lead a team of 3-4 associates to efficiently perform duties.

? Competency with forklifts, pallet jack, lift trucks and other material handling equipment.

? Ability to lift boxes up to 80lbs.
