About This Position

POSITION SUMMARY: The Radiographer II delivers high-quality imaging and exceptional patient care across at least two medical imaging modalities, such as MRI, CT, Mammography, or X-ray. This role requires advanced clinical expertise and problem-solving skills to ensure optimal diagnostic outcomes. The Radiographer II performs imaging procedures with precision, determining appropriate positioning and scan parameters to produce the highest-quality results. They review images for clarity and accuracy, ensuring radiologists can effectively visualize areas of concern. A positive and professional customer service attitude is maintained in all interactions with patients and team members, while the Radiographer II consistently adheres to professional standards and aligns with the organization’s mission, vision, and values. Personal responsibility for professional development and practice is a core expectation of this role. Essential functions may vary based on the modality being performed, ensuring adaptability to meet specific clinical needs.

REQUIREMENTS:

  • Associate's Degree in Radiologic Technology
  • One year of Imaging - Radiography experience
  • Registered Technologist through ARRT
  • Registry in an additional modality through ARRT (MR, Mammography, or CT)
  • BLSP (CPR) from the American Heart Association

PREFERRED:

  • One year of Imaging - Advanced Level Modality experience
