Job Description

FULL TIME CLINIC MEDICAL ASSISTANT
Morrow County Health District has an opening for a Full-time Medical Assistant at Boardman Immediate Care in Boardman, Oregon. Located next to the stunning Columbia River in Eastern Oregon and just off the I-84 Corridor, Irrigon is a family oriented community and has an array of activities for the outdoor enthusiast.

Pay range: $21.05-$28.32/ hour. Standard four month probationary period.

Job Duties:
  • Provide patient care and perform a variety of procedures and assessment duties including vital signs, EKG, Oximetry testing.
  • Performs phlebotomy and administers injections.
  • Records and updates information in patient's electronic medical record.
  • Ensures supplies are adequately stocked and outdates are pulled from supply areas.
  • Assists provider as necessary and completes authorizations/referrals as requested.

Job Details:
  • Highschool graduate or equivalent required.
  • Must have a BLS certification.
  • Prior Medical Assisting and Electronic Health Record experience required.
  • Bilingual preferred.
  • MA Certification and phlebotomy experience preferred.
  • Pre-employment drug screen and background check required.
