Registered Dietitian Nutritionist at Counseling Works – Shorewood, Illinois

Counseling Works is a boutique private practice with offices in Naperville, Frankfort, Shorewood and Lemont, IL. We are looking for a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist who is enthusiastic, easy to connect with and adaptable to join our group practice. You will work alongside our eating disorder therapists, and provide therapeutic care both in-person, and via telehealth. The RDN must be comfortable treating a variety of clients with varying eating disorders, nutrition or food concerns, or body image and weight goals.

Typically our providers are at full time status in an average of 3-4 months depending on availability. The candidate must be: independent, driven, collaborative, organized, detail oriented, and able to enhance our positive-minded group of clinicians. The candidate will be W2 employee status. Compensation is fee per client based, and paid out bi-monthly.

Requirements:

• Current State of Illinois license as a RDN
• Available to work weekends and evenings
• Minimum 1 year experience counseling our practice’s demographic
• Experience providing 1:1 therapeutic sessions
• Prior private practice experience is a plus, but not required
• Good computer skills – we use Google Suite & TherapyNotes
• Organized, professional, conscientious, timely and responsible.

Responsibilities:

• Provide individual nutrition counseling
• Complete electronic notes and current treatment plans in a timely fashion
• Complete ROI with client, and consult with other providers, psychiatrists and family members when appropriate
• Schedule & re-schedule clients for sessions with you
• With support, manage client’s emergencies if/as they arise
• Continue to learn and grow to remain competent in serving the practice’s demographic and your caseload’s unique challenges
• Growing and managing a caseload at full time status
• General tidiness of the office you are using and the common areas

Experience:

• Private Practice: 1 year (Preferred)
• RDN Experience: 3 years (Preferred)

Education/License:

• Master's (Required)
• Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (Required)
