Registered Nurse at Willis-Knighton Health System – Shreveport, Louisiana

We are seeking a RN for the Ark-La-Tex Dermatology clinic who specializes in dermatology, cosmetic, and laser procedures. The RN will coordinate nursing care for cosmetic laser patients while in the clinic, participate in patient/family teaching, and provide leadership by working cooperatively with ancillary nursing staff and other patient team personnel. A detail-orientated, dependable, organized nurse who is able to multitask and has demonstrated a consistent work history will be chosen for the job. Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following: performing non-invasive services and treatments, including but not limited to: Laser Hair Removal, Coolsculpting, Tattoo Removal, Fraxel, and Excel V. The RN will perform all services and treatments in accordance with established treatment protocols, scope of practice, organization policies and procedures, and all other governing standards. The RN will also help with the marketing of clinical services, including the writing of newsletters, visual aids, social media ads, etc. The office hours are Monday through Friday, 8:00am to 5:00pm. Generally, you will not be required to work weekends and holidays. An RN with a current license to practice as a professional nurse in the state of Louisiana will be required for this position and previous experience in a Physician Clinic or related area is preferred.
