Inpatient Counselor GB at Ashtabula County Medical Center – Rock Creek, Ohio

Licensed Chemical Dependency Counselor to perform psychosocial assessments on new admissions. Provide case management services for assigned patients. Facilitate Group Therapy and conduct individual and family counseling sessions. Present lectures to patients and family members. Participate in a treatment team with other professional staff. Maintain appropriate documentation and reports. Communicate effectively with patients' families, referents and other professionals. Maintain professional standards regarding practice, conduct, continuing education, appearance and relationships with patients and other professionals.Licensed by the State of Ohio Chemical Dependency Board, or Counselor, Social Worker & Marriage & Family Therapist Board or licensure eligible. This position is PRN.
